ONE person died after being shot in the head near Copenhagen’s main synagogue and two policemen were wounded, police said at a press conference early Sunday.

Police were unable to confirm if the incident was related to Saturday’s deadly shooting at a cultural centre in Copenhagen where a debate on Islam and free speech was being held.
