Prof. Godwin Azenabor of the philosophy department, University of Lagos, yesterday, confirmed that the don died on October 1, 2023. Traditional rites for his burial will be held at Uokhuen, Ohordua Esan, Edo State.
The late professor served in some of the prestigious universities in Canada and America.
He was a professor at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and University of Wisconsin, United States of America.
Azenabor was passionate about the development and progress of Ohordua. He demonstrated uncommon passion as exemplified in the edifice he built at Uokhuen Ohordua, following his return from the United States of America a few years ago.
He was described as a great inspiration; someone who was ever ready to offer advice and support when needed.
