Nick Cannon Reveals Why He Insured His Testicles for $10 million

Comedian Nick Cannon announced back in June 2024 that he has insured his testicles for a whopping 10 million.

Nick Cannon is a popular television host, he is known for his large family and open personal life. Speaking on the reason behind his decision, he cited that this act is not uncommon among celebrities. This is true as several celebrities have insured certain body parts of theirs for huge sums of money.

In a tell-all interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET), Nick said, “We know how to make noise out here, and that’s exactly what we did.

“I had to insure my most valuable assets. Because you hear about like all these different celebrities insuring their legs, so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.’

Although this insurance was done alongside Nick Cannon’s personal-care company, Dr. Squatch.

The entertainer joked that he’s “making sure nothing goes wrong” with his testicles. Also, he clarified that he doesn’t have any plans to expand his family anytime soon.

Truthfully, Nick Cannon’s decision to insure an intimate part of his body adds him to the growing list of celebrities who have done such. Over the years, various stars have taken out insurance policies on their valuable physical assets, including:

Former Football Player David Beckham’s legs, insured for $140 million
Mariah Carey’s voice and legs, insured for $35 million each
Actress America Ferrera’s smile, insured for $10 million

Furthermore, Nick Cannon has twelve children with six women. He has two sets of twins, one of which he had with singer Mariah Carey before their divorce in November 2016.
