Ohanaeze applauds as Kaduna gov appoints Igbo aides

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has appointed two Igbo indigenes in his cabinet as aides. He appointed Mr. Fabian Okoye as Special Adviser for Research Documentation and Strategy, and Mrs. Maureen Okogwu-Ikokwu as Senior Special Assistant.

Commending the governor for his magnanimity, Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Kaduna, Mr. Chris Oha, said the appointments demonstrated a commitment to inclusivity and unity, disregarding ethnicity.

Ohanaeze acknowledged the governor’s promise of involving all members of society and praised his commitment to inclusivity.

The pan-Igbo socio-cultural organisation expressed optimism that Sani would continue to appoint individuals from diverse backgrounds, who consider Kaduna their home, regardless of their state of origin.

Oha also expressed willingness of Ndigbo to collaborate with the state government in advancing peace, unity, social justice and overall development in the state.
